Cartagena hosts the V International Symposium on Food Technology, an event which, running parallel to the Technology Transfer Conference on Food Murcia 2011, focuses the attention of researchers and companies involved with the technical knowledge applied to the world of food.

Felix Faure, president of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), Nicholas Angel Bernal, Second Deputy Mayor of Cartagena, Juan Hernandez Albarracin, director of INFO, José García Gómez, president of the National Technology Centre and Canning Food (CTC), will appear before the media to explain the details of the event.

The press conference will be on Monday October 24 at 10:00 am at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, third floor, west room of the Old Barracks Seamanship Instruction (CIM).
