The Youth Resource Center reports that the Partnership Coordinator José María Lapuerta has organized for Sunday, October 23, a trip to the Battery Fajardo.
Fajardo Battery in 1860 and its function was to house the troops serving in the area to spot the coves of Cartagena and tailings, and the Cape Algameca and Tinos.
Fajardo Battery is in the right side of the bay of Cartagena.
The departure will take place starting at 9:15 am from the neighborhood of Jose Maria Lapuerta and 10h from the bridge of Bazan.
The return is expected on the 17h.
Participants should bring mountain clothes and shoes, hat, water and food without forgetting the camera.
The event is free upon registration at the Youth Resource Center, Paseo Alfonso XIII, No. 53 phone 968-128862 (extension 4) or in the Book Botica José María Lapuerta (Neighborhood Association) Monday through Friday from 16 to 20h.
