On the occasion of the exhibition 'In the light of two cities: Rome and Cartagena' monographic courses are scheduled, lectures and a tour of the exhibition of the painter's hand on Friday, September 23, the day of Open

On the occasion of the exhibition 'In the light of two cities: Rome and Cartagena' the painter Perez Casanova, Roman Theater Foundation has prepared a series of activities including courses, conferences and an open day which will involve the artist .

The exhibition, which opens tomorrow, Thursday, September 15, is organized by the city of Cartagena with the collaboration of the Fundación Teatro Romano de Cartagena and the HC group Energy and collect a sample of the paintings of Pérez Casanova on Rome and Cartagena, two cities he admires, two cities that illuminates the painter, but which also is illuminated.

The exhibition can be seen in the exhibition hall of the Palace Hall with regular hours of opening and the exhibition hall of the Museo del Teatro Romano at the following times: Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00 to 20.00

Sundays from 10.00 to 14.00 h.

The Open Day at the Museo del Teatro Romano is Friday 23 September and, on the occasion of the Festival of Carthaginians and Romans, and involved the painter Pedro Perez Diego Casanova to take some guided tours of the exhibition, in the morning 11.00 hours and the afternoon at 18.00.

Monogr Ficosa COURSES

As part of the temporary exhibition 'In the light of two cities', has also decided to organize a monographic course in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.

In this course aims to signify the importance of the old Carthago Nova, the capital of Carthaginensis conventus and unavoidable port within the trade routes of the Mare Nostrum, which reach Rome itself.

Evidence of that moment of glory are many remains preserved from the theater, amphitheater and other public and private buildings, whose start value and musealization have been essential to the cultural and economic revival of the Cartagena today.

The city, which today has linked his fate with its long history, offers a framework of excellence charged with capital resources and training that will be addressed over the course of the hand of various archaeologists and researchers from prestigious , whom we thank for their collaboration and effort to a better understanding of our ancient history.

CONFERENCE PROGRAMME

Among the activities related to the exhibition, the Roman Theatre and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena has also scheduled a series of conferences to be held from Wednesday October 19th and until November 30 with different presentations that will focus on the issues the Roman and Carthage.
