The Governing Council has given its approval to the recruitment by the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration of 204 seats in the center of day care for people with intellectual disabilities in the municipality of Cartagena.

The hiring of places, amounting to 2.2 billion euros, will be held with the Guardian Association of the Disabled (Astus), whose day care center (PROLAM-Astus), located in Los Dolores de Cartagena, serves in this region.

The seats are for people with disabilities eligible under the Law Unit, aged between 16 and 65.

In the day care center, users are attended by skilled personnel in counseling and therapy.

They also receive basic care in helping to improve their personal skills and autonomy.
