Local Police specializes in domestic violence and gender (13/05/2011)

Cartagena City Council through its School of Public Safety (ESPAC) has organized a course for specialization in local police in family violence and violence against women, whose objective is the preparation and updating in this area agents specializing in Family Violence and Police Units in general, involved in the initial investigation.

Rea and Criminal Procedure: Criminal Type.

Active and passive subjects.

Legal goods protected.

Legal autonomy.

Criminal Rating.

Penalties and measures of protection, control and records.

Rhea Law Enforcement: Police services for the treatment and prosecution of crimes of gender and domestic violence.

The Local Police SJPV Cartagena, structure and function.

Action protocols and other regulations.

Rhea Criminology: Theories about the origin of violence.

Sorts of violence.

Treatment and protection to victims.

Treatment and control of offenders.

Introduction to violence risk assessment.

à rea-Judicial psychosocial care: psychosocial care for victims.

Care protocols and mechanisms.

Rea Forensic Medicine: Symptoms of the victims.

Early health interventions.

The recipients are police and commanders of the unit specializing in family violence and police officers belonging to the operational area of ​​Public Safety.

The course will be held on 17, 19, 24, 26, 31 May and 2 June 7 and will last for 30 hours.

Is planned for an attendance of 25 students and develop new facilities in the School of Public Safety, Security at City Hall Park in Cartagena.
