Firefighters removed gull chicks and nests of the Town Hall (11/05/2011)

Staff of the Fire Department of Cartagena held on Thursday May 12 intervention for the removal of gull chicks and nests have been located in the upper echelons of the Town Hall and adjacent buildings, actions to be carried out after 16 00 hours and is part of the campaign to control the population of these birds being conducted by the City Council through the Department of Health.

The campaign, now in its fourth edition started last April, is receiving fewer calls this year with notices of location of nests and eggs, which, from the Department, is to encourage citizen cooperation to prevent Gulls can become a place in the city.
