Small sips of poetry, to promote the festival Much More May (29/04/2011)

C elia Cruz shouted: "Sacariiiina!" And left the island salsa.

Messages like the Reverend Os poets have been translated into sugar packets to promote Mucho Mas Mayo Festival, held in the city of 9 to 15 May.

A total of fifty shops in Cartagena, and twenty collaborators for the night of the museums have joined this initiative.

Microdulzuras, is the poetic name of this action organized by the Festival, in partnership with cafes Bernal and the Association of Hotels and Tourist Accommodations in Cartagena (Hostec) with which about 200,000 azucarillos shared by different bars and cafes in the center Cartagena.

Youth Council Members, Ruth Collins, and Commerce, Javier Herrero, Browns manager Bernal, Francisco Bernal, and representatives of Hostec, presented this morning the initiative which aims to awaken the public curiosity about the Festival by force of words.

This year is expected to repeat the success of previous editions, even the envelopes sent Mucho Mas Mayo azucarillos collectors of Argentina.

INTERNATIONAL POETS TO PERFORM N THE NIGHT OF MUSEUMS

Sweets micropoems messages are some of the poets and writers involved in this year's festival, and that the authors recite in different parts of the city during the Night of Museums, held on 14 May.

Among the selection of poets have included some of national and international fame as the aforementioned duo Os Revs, Ricardo Menéndez novelist Salmon, who also held a conference on art and literature, the Night of Museums, or the Cuban poet Milena Rodriguez, hold a poetry reading in the landmark neo-Arab courtyard of the house Victor Beltrí Dorda.

But it has also given a space of three poets of great renown in the region as Alberto Chessa, second prize in the latest edition of the prestigious Adonais, the poet and director of the Collection Lancelot, Javier Marín Ceballos, and the poet, translator and teacher the UPCT, Natalia Carbajosa.
