Teatro Municipal School Francisco Rabal works at this year's Much More May 2011 through the course of body language and mime, essentially called space-movement-rhythm. As its name suggests is the achievement and learning opportunities for communication that has own body to write stories without words, in any imaginary space, to trigger body rhythm of its own energy.
The workshop is part of the schedule for this sixth edition of Much More May 2011 to be held between 9 and 15 May in Cartagena.
Will be given by those involved in intimate à Theatre Company, Michelangelo Montilla and Raul Pont, both specialist in performing mini-dramas without words and, moreover, have already participated in earlier editions of the festival.
This course will be held on Friday 13 May from 16.00 to 20.00 and Saturday 14 May from 10.00 to 13.00 pm and from 16.00 to 20.00 pm in the Assembly Hall of Casa de la Juventud, Paseo Alfonso XIII.
The number of places is limited to 25 people at an entry price of 15 euros.
At the end of the workshop will be held by the participants with a performance at the center of the city on Sunday 15 May from 12.00 noon in the Plaza del Icue, which will begin a tour of the center pedestrian various expressive scenes with dramatic storylines, typical and atypical movements of life on the street, interacting with pedestrians.
The workshop's objective is to develop a theatrical experience that has its technical and artistic hub in the mimodrama (gestural expression of a story), created by the students.
With the exercises and improvisations we become aware of our body and learn to use it as a tool to convey an idea of ​​literature.
