The mysterious case of the Necropolis, the Sunday of the month of April (07/04/2011)

The Municipal Archaeological Museum Enrique Escudero de Castro celebrated on the Sunday of the month of April The mysterious case of the Necropolis, the funerary workshop during the fourth century that is staged in the museum's Early Christian Necropolis.

Catering to families consisting of at least one adult and one child aged 6-12 years and a maximum of 25 participants per workshop, this activity invites to play in order to solve a mystery, finding clues and analyzing all the keys to success, while details are known of ancient funerary rites, rituals, regalia and customs of the different eras represented in the Museum.

The workshop begins with a discussion of funerary rites throughout history, based on parts of the museum.

That is, a tour of the museum with emphasis on the aspects of the funeral world represented.

The following is a mystery game in which through a series of clues participants (adults and children in teams) will have to solve a crime.

Teams of the various families are registered to compete among themselves to solve the mystery.

In addition, there is a support educational booklet to be distributed to the participants, specially prepared for the activity, and designed by the Educational Department of the Museum.

The workshop schedule will be from 12.00 to 14.00 hours, is a free activity-served basis and reservations can be made ​​on the phone 968539027, Saturday and Sunday at the Museum.
