Local police arrested on Monday night March 21 in the center of Cartagena, two men of 32 and 33 years old Spanish national, for an alleged crime of burglary.
Individuals were caught by officers inside a home while trying to be about 20 kilos of copper pipe.
The incident occurred about 22.00 hours, when a police unit on duty in the area, was alerted by a neighbor who heard loud noises and shots coming from the pipe inside an apartment allegedly was arrested.
By accessing the interior of the building, officers found how two individuals out of the building loaded with two bags full of copper pipe from the pipe inside the house.
Involved that the agents expressed their intention to sell the material, were arrested immediately and brought to justice.
