The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz opened today, along with the mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, indoor sports hall of La Palma.
Infrastructure, in addition to sporting purposes, is designed to house cultural activities.
The pavilion was begun in October 2008 and its implementation have been invested 1.6 million euros, financed by the Ministry and the city of Cartagena.
The new sports facilities occupy a built area of over 2,000 square meters.
It has a tier of 222 seats, four dressing rooms under the stands, a warehouse and a gym and fitness room attached.
In addition, the central court, about 1,000 square meters, has a motorized curtain to divide it into two classrooms when necessary.
The main users are the school flag school and adjoining school, as well as sports Codelpa group and other groups and citizens of the deputation.
