Cartagena to the flag during the stay of ships of NATO (28/02/2011)

The long queues to visit the ships, the terraces of the bars full of people and some 4,000 visitors have passed through Cartagena Port of Cultures, has been the result of the stay in the port of fourteen ships of the Alliance over the weekend week

It's not every day that fourteen NATO ships visit the port of Cartagena and above, that open to the general public visit, which is why, during this weekend and with that claim, floods of visitors and curious both of Cartagena and the surrounding area, have crowded the city center.

About 2 800 sailors have gone through these two days Cartagena, aboard some of the most important Spanish ships, such as the aircraft carrier Principe de Asturias, frigate Álvaro de Bazán, Victoria and Navarre, the Marquis of oil Ensenada and amphibious command ship Castilla.

4,000 VISITS PORT OF CULTURES
