Local Police practice a dozen seizures in January (08/02/2011)

In its efforts to control illegal street trading in the municipality, the local police in Cartagena has undergone a dozen seizures during last January, both in public and in the various weekly markets, which have resulted in large numbers of items seized, including 337 CDs, 357 DVDs, 17 tracksuits, 5 pairs of running shoes, as well as toys and 25-pin dress, all her good imitation of great designers with a high price in the legal market.

Additionally, this same operation were also seized perishable goods sold in the street.

With these actions carried out routinely and spontaneously, Local Police complies with the provisions of Municipal Ordinance which regulates the exercise of that practice outside of permanent shops, deterring and preventing illegal activities.

STEPS FOR THE TRAVELING SALESMAN

Within the framework of the Municipal Ordinance, it seeks to specify the maximum, where, when, how to make the sale and what products will be allowed.

Typically, holders of licenses for street vending license must show that the agents each time it is required in order to facilitate such monitoring purposes.

But when jobs are unlicensed or counterfeit goods, the agents come to their seizure and deposited the goods in transit warehouse, where it is stored awaiting its owner this letter for payment.

If not, you destroy the items, in case of CDs, DVDs or counterfeit products, or donate to charities of the municipality, if food is perishable.
