A small boat carrying the thirteen people have been intercepted this morning at 8'45 pm, a Civil Guard patrol boat when it was located 9 miles (16.6 kilometers) from Cape Tiñoso, in the municipality Cartagena.
The presence of that vessel was detected at 6'45 pm today by the Integrated External Surveillance (SIVE) when it sailed to the coast of the region and was 14 miles (25.9 kilometers) of it.
The patrol officers of the Maritime Service Civil Guard took over the thirteen occupants of the dinghy, all adults and in apparent good health, which will be transported by a coastguard vessel to the port of Cartagena, where they receive health care, after which it will available to the National Police for their return to their country of origin.
The small boat used is a zodiac type boat 4 meters long and equipped with a 25 hp engine.
