Councillor for Employment, Ruth Collins, and director of the Agency of Local Development and Employment, Francisco Garcia Valenzuela, has today presented the diplomas for students who have completed the course organized by the Health Keeper ADLE in a event which took place in the Ceremonial Hall of the Town Hall.

The intention of this course, as Collins noted, was to facilitate the integration of unemployed into the labor market in a sector which detects a growing demand such as health and elderly care.

Thus, the curriculum of the course students will become part of the job market of the Agency, which opens another door.

The training in question began on October 18, taught in the morning for a total of 10 unemployed people, aimed at improving their chances of employability.

Participants are trained in specific theoretical area of care and patient transfer of 100 hours, and practical training of one month in the workplace, carrying out the duties of the caretaker.

In particular practices have been made 80 hours in the University Hospital Santa María del Rosell Hospital and Perpetual Help.

The course of Celador Health has recognized the health interest by the Directorate General of Planning, Health and Pharmaceutical Management and Research of the Ministry of Health.
