Just over a hundred new students from the Academia General del Aire, accompanied by their teachers, today visited the mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, who received them at the Palace Hall.
Leading the group came Colonel director of the AGA, Juan Antonio Ortega, as head of the expedition, and Lieutenant Colonel Paul Guillén, head teacher of young students.
The Mayor was delighted with the visit and has also been feted by students at the Air Academy, who have presented with a metopa in memory of their meeting.
The young soldiers have taken advantage of, well, stay in the city on a tour of the Palace Hall, after his meeting with the first municipal authority, and immediately have toured the Teatro Romano.
