Professor Antonio Gómez-Guillamón Duréndez was today elected the dean of the Faculty of Sciences of the Company.
Duréndez, replacing Antonio García Sánchez, he teaches at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) since 1999.
Duréndez Antonio has been chosen by the Faculty Board by 61 votes in favor of 67 votes cast.
The new Dean has served as Dean of International Relations for the past four years.
He is currently deputy director of the Family Business Chair at the University of Murcia.
Duréndez is also a member of the research group of Financial Economics and Accounting and Auditing specialist, as well as financial information and management of SMEs and family businesses.
The new dean said that the priorities of work for the next four years is further promoting the internationalization of the center and the implementation of the study as part of the new European Higher Education Area.
