In just over a month, the city of Cartagena will be dyed green to mark Econducción Campaign, organized by the City of Cartagena and the Royal Automobile Club of Catalunya (RACC) to promote good habits and practices to minimize environmental impact cars and encourage energy conservation by implementing a more sustainable mobility.

The presentation of the campaign have been present Councillor for Citizen Security, Javier Herrero, and responsible for the RACC Foundation, Lucia Serantes. From City Hall, Smith claimed, the idea is to consolidate Cartagena as a clean and healthy, and This requires that the administration, vehicle manufacturers and, of course, citizens work together for efficient driving.

At present, the fleet consists of Cartagena 144,137 vehicles, of which 108,726 are cars and 11,330 motorcycles.

Based on these figures and assumptions are fulfilled the campaign could be reduced by about 20 percent of the pollutants emitted into the atmosphere.
