The City of Cartagena, through the Department of Youth, transfer facilities for people with intellectual disabilities to enjoy their free time as the rest of Cartagena.
The facility will be managed by Asido Astus Cartagena, which mñana Wednesday, November 3 at 12:00 hours, sign in the Juvenile s Resource Center, a collaboration agreement.
Both acociaciones, integrated FEAPS Murcia, c onstituirán an organization dedicated to recreation and entertainment, which will focus on the disabled person himself to choose which activities you want and make them perform together people with and without disabilities.
In this event, which will launch the Inclusive Leisure Services, will attend the Youth Councillor, Ruth María Collado, along with representatives of the three entities, Francisco Fernandez, Director of Foundation Gmp, Juan Carrasco, vice president of ASID and Joaquin Cartagena Barberá.
ASID Cartagena and Astus are nonprofit associations driven by families of people with intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome in the Shire.
Both are integrated into the federation FEAPS Murcia.
FEAPS has selected the project for Inclusive Recreation Service from those presented in Spain to support a consultancy service to guide associations throughout the process.
Gmp Foundation is a private non-profit organization registered in the Register of Foundations of Ministry of Education, Social Policy and Sports under No. 28-1541.
Gmp Foundation has concentrated on improving the quality of life of people with Down syndrome, brain damage and / or other types of intellectual disabilities to achieve their full integration into family, school, work, social and with a special interest in children with intellectual disabilities.
