The program T-La (Alternative Leisure) prepared by the Youth Council has organized a visit to the Mining Park of La Union to be held on Saturday 20th November at 9.00 leaving from the Youth Resource Centre and has a fee of 10 euros.

The Union Mining Park, located in the foothills of the Sierra Minera, allows visitors to learn the entire process of the old nineteenth-century mining industry, from ore extraction to its transformation into metal.

In this activity, combined with a visit to the Mining Museum in La Union, participants will learn the Mina Groups Vicenta.

It was dedicated to the removal of pyrite from 1869 to mid-twentieth century.

With over 4000 square meters, open to the public, 80 meters deep, is one of the largest and most spectacular mines visited in Europe, highlighting his inland lake water reddish due to the pyrite.

Entries can be formalized in the Youth Resource Centre, from 9am to 14pm and from 17 to 20h, Saturdays from 10 to 14.
