The jury of Documentary Photography Competition IV Carlos Gallego has announced the winner of first prize, worth 2,000 euros, in the national section, which has been Tornel Ignacio García, with a photograph of the cyclist Alejandro Valverde on the podium.
In addition, two runners were awarded € 1,000 each, Pablo Sánchez de Valle with a photograph on heavy rains in Cartagena, and Roberto Perez Rubio, with a snapshot on the participation of Francisco Camps in the procession of the Holy Face Alicante.
The winning photo and the finalists will be displayed along with the annual exhibition of photojournalism Murcia.
The exhibition can be visited from the month of October at the Centro Cultural Ramón Alonso Luzzy.
This event, a tribute to the memory of the admired photographer Carlos Gallego, he convenes the Association of Graphic Reporters Press and TV of the Murcia Region, in collaboration with the Culture Department of the City of Cartagena and the Historical Center of Photography in the Region Murcia (CEHIFORM).
