The Cartagena Laryngectomees Association and thanked the County Councillor for Social Care, Antonio Calderon, the support and cooperation we received for the implementation of this partnership.
A score of partners, among which was the councilman of Health of Torre Pacheco, Antonio Cózar, and the association president, Eduardo Torres, have been received by Antonio Calderon at the Palace Hall.
Calderon thanked Cózar a year ago, when the association began to take shape, cede municipal premises in the Building of La Milagrosa, where they have been meeting to launch the same.
Laryngectomy Association of Cartagena brings together cancer patients who have been removed the larynx and vocal cords.
Among its objectives is to provide psychosocial support to these patients and facilitate their vocational rehabilitation and social integration, while preventing smoking.
