The Palace Hall, regarding architectural rehabilitation (04/10/2010)

The Palace Hall today received a visit from a representative of the Official College of Architects of the Region of Murcia, with its senior forward, who in the hand of the architect of the restoration and rehabilitation, the architect Juan Antonio Molina, wanted to check first hand the work done in this building for twelve years and ended four years ago.

The visit follows a request of the College to celebrate the Day of Architecture and has been divided into two parts, first place is designed documentation on the condition of the building before the reform and then visited the Palace Hall to see the result of what Molina considered a major project that beyond cleaning and restoration, has been to remove and has set back the building.

As Juan Antonio Molina, the most important landmarks of the city have been saved, such as the Palacio Aguirre, Pedreño House, the Grand Hotel or the Palace Riquelme, now the Museum of the Roman Theatre, and now must focus on recovering Cartagena subsoil, as it is an almost inexhaustible quarry of culture and art.
