The Cross of Artillery IX participants increases and changes in itinerary (01/10/2010)

The Cross of Artillery IX will be held on Sunday 21 November.

The test, which is seeking closer ties between the civilian and military, was presented yesterday at noon in the old Artillery Park Plaza López Pinto by the Councillor for Sports, Alonso Gómez López, and the Colonel's Regiment Antiaircraft Artillery 73, Patricio Togores.

This year there will be significant changes: increase the number of participants, from 2,000 to 2,500 lats, and change the route.

The output will be in San Juan Street to return to the main gate of the Artillery Museum in Plaza de Lopez Pinto.

The line from which the runners will have about a thousand meters, which will stretch the group and avoid tripping.

The bulk of the participants will travel 5,000 meters and will go through all the most important military points of the city, the military government, and the Arsenal captaincy, although there are still some fringe.

Despite the crisis, will remain the same categories as previous years.

Regarding entry fee, children (Benjamin and participants test a mile) will only pay four euros, while adults will return to pay six euros.

2,500 euros, one euro of the registration of participating house will support the struggle of the Spanish Association Against Cancer.

Each participant will receive a stock broker.

Runners will receive prizes that go through the finish line at position 50 or multiples of that figure and there are preparations 140 trophies.

There will be drawings for numerous gifts and passes to a spa.

Registration will open in one day.
