The Director General of Planning and Housing, Antonio Navarro, today visited one of the works that the Community drives in Cartagena to improve the livability and accessibility in buildings through the Regional Housing Plan 2009-2012.
"For the 2010 Annual Regional Housing Plan are qualified and rehabilitation activities financed 2,300 single family homes and buildings. Through such grants, from the regional government is to provide Murcia greater quality of life through of improved accessibility, structural safety, comfort and energy efficiency in their homes as happens with works being carried out in this building 16 homes, "the director general.
In particular, the refurbishment of the building covered Navarro visited the adequacy of the façade to improve the thermal envelope of the building and structural safety, and adapting the building to facilitate mobility for persons with disabilities.
Among the different types of aid covered by the Regional Housing Plan 2009-2012, the beneficiaries, depending on the requirements and the type of action, may receive assistance of up to 75 percent of the budget protected works, which may involve a maximum grant of 12,100 euros per household.
