Local police kept Cartagena preventive controls alcohol in city streets, with a new campaign which will take place between 29 July and 4 August.
These 21 new controls whose purpose is to verify that drivers are moving under the influence of alcohol at a rate higher than allowed.
These actions are conducted in shifts morning, afternoon and night, and the specific ways in which the controls are mounted along these days are as follows:

Calle Jiménez de la Espada
Calle Juan de la Cueva
Alameda de San Antón
Calle Jorge Juan

Sparta Street
Calle Santa Lucia
Avenida Sánchez Meca
Mompeán Bridge
Calle Cabrera
Quarry Crossing
Crossing San José Obrero

These police checks of alcohol are part of the summer season in which they will verify some 1,000 checks during the months of July August.
Will be performed both in the urban areas and in neighborhoods and beaches, where there are more vehicle traffic.
