Decentralization launches a campaign on the coast to promote citizenship (11/04/2018)

The Department of Decentralization, directed by Juan Pedro Torralba, has launched a campaign on the coast to encourage civic behavior between residents and tourists.

Thus, in the coming weeks a total of 300 posters will be installed in the coastal towns in which citizens are encouraged to collaborate actively in the maintenance of beaches, boardwalks, parks and gardens.

"Our main intention is to make citizens aware of the importance of taking care of, among all, public spaces and leaving them as we would like to find them.

It is a basic principle of coexistence and we want to place special emphasis on the common areas of the coast of Cartagena, "said councilor Juan Pedro Torralba.

Specifically, they will be placed 100 posters warning that it is not allowed to access pets on beaches, access and boardwalks;

144 posters that remind you that you have to collect the excrements of pets, especially in playgrounds, parks and gardens;

and another 56 that seek to raise awareness among citizens about the obligation to use paper mills.

The work of installing these posters has already begun in Cabo de Palos, Mar de Cristal, Minor Islands and La Manga and in the coming days will be placed on all the beaches of the Mar Menor and the west.
