The governing council of the Board Carmen Conde-Antonio Oliver who manages and manages the legacy of the academic Cartagena has met this afternoon, under the chairmanship of the Councilor for Culture, Education and Youth, David Martínez Noguera.
The agenda included the report of the activities carried out by the Board of Trustees since the last meeting in December 2016, until March 19, 2018, relating to technical documentation for the extensive documentation existing in the legacy, as well as contracts edition of the work, promotion and dissemination activities, as well as other cultural and tribute issues among others.
The council, which includes representatives of the municipal groups, Alfonso X El Sabio Academy and the University of Murcia, executors and a representative of citizens, has approved with the vote against PP and abstention of MC Cartagena, the budgets of this body for the year 2018, which is around 13 thousand euros and which will be used to continue with the cataloging of the legacy for its availability to researchers, as well as the next publication of the correspondence that Carmen Conde maintained with María Cegarra and other outstanding literatas of her time.
Finally the council unanimously approved the return of Cayetano Tornel to the technical direction of the board, after a hiatus as a result of his responsibilities as director general of Interior.
