FC Cartagena players visit the San Antonio Abad school to prevent school absenteeism (23/02/2018)

The San Antonio Abad school in Cartagena received on Thursday, February 22, the visit of FC Cartagena players.

Continue the visits of athletes to schools within the School Absenteeism Prevention Campaign developed jointly by the Department of Education and Sports of the City of Cartagena through the municipal school absenteeism and approach to sports (ADE) programs.

This time it was the sixth grade students, who received the visit of the players of FCCartagena, Sergio Jiménez, Kuki Zalazar and Mejias.

an activity that is part of the campaign to prevent school absenteeism 'Every day without fail'.

The meeting lasted for more than an hour in the auditorium of the educational center.

With the anthem of the FCCartagena, between applause and cries of EFESE the schoolchildren were enthusiastic about the players.

After an initial presentation of the players the video of the Campaign, 'Every day without fail', was screened.

Next, the players answered some of the questions of these students about all kinds of topics, especially sports, education, nutrition, as well as the experiences told by the athletes that attracted the attention of the students.

Sergio Jiménez, Kuki Zalazar and Mejias, delivered to the educational center two balls signed by the squad and a scarf of FC Cartagena, as well as tickets for next Sunday's game against Marbella, thanks to the Club Foundation and within the agreement made with the City Council to bring sports to schoolchildren in Cartagena.
