Citizens collect complaints from SPLRM-CSIF regarding public employment offers approved by the Government (21/01/2018)

- The Citizen spokesman has moved them to analyze all the information they have offered and has committed to clarify with the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, all these doubts and demands

Cartagena, Sunday January 21-.

The spokesman for Citizens in Cartagena, Manuel Padín, has received in his dependencies of the Town Hall the general secretary of SPLRM-CSIF, Sergio Porta, and the union delegate, Enrique Calleja to collect their concern and their complaints about the successive offers of Public Employment of Local Police that have been approved by the Government of Cartagena, and do not consider that they conform to reality.

According to the union, it is rather a mechanism that only seeks internal promotion and promotion, but does not create new positions, which is what is really needed to alleviate the work of the agents.

The general secretary of SPLRM-CSIF informed that at present they maintain an open procedure in the litigation court for the allocation of vacancies that do not appear in the staff as vacancies and without budgetary consignment;

They have also reported this situation to the Ministry of Finance.

In addition, they have informed the spokesman of the orange training that during the meetings with the councilor of the Area of Sustainable Development and Public Function, Francisco Aznar, they have tried to let him know for two years that they, being special services, are not subject to the limit in terms of replacement rate and that therefore can be covered one hundred percent.

This union considers that first it is necessary that the staff rejuvenates and that later they rise to the police controls "and not vice versa" as, in their opinion, it is being done now.

Specifically, the 2016 OPE contemplates the creation of 26 vacancies or newly created vacancies charged to replacement fees.

However, the union has insisted, none of the special cases that would allow the creation of the same without budgetary provision are met.

And they have remembered in 2009 a Public Employment Offer was approved that "paralyzed" the Contentious Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of the Region of Murcia.

On the other hand, the union SPLRM-CSIF has lamented that its proposals to the Government to incorporate electric motorcycles and bicycles for the agents have fallen on deaf ears.

For its part, the spokesman of Citizens has transferred to them that it will analyze all the information that has been offered and has promised to clarify with the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, all these doubts and demands, "we have been listening to these complaints for many months and the City Council has not clarified the issue, and I think it is time to do it, if we are doing something irregularly, we will have to correct it and do things as they have to be done ".

In addition, Manuel Padín has collected the glove launched by the union on bicycles and electric motorcycles as part of the equipment of the Local Police of Cartagena, "we think a very interesting proposal that we will work in our Group to raise if the numbers match and it is possible. "
