The IX edition of the Route of the Fortresses, which will take place on April 14, already exceeds the 5,600 registered in just one week.

The deadline to register for this route was opened on January 8 and ends on the 28th.

The general test consists of 3,800 seats, so in just 8 days has exceeded the maximum capacity that allows the route.

Once the registration deadline has expired, a lottery will be held on January 29 to assign the numbers in a correlative manner.

From February 1 to 9 will be the period authorized for payment of registration.

On February 12, the numbers will be assigned to those who have been on the waiting list, also in a correlative manner, and between the 13th and the 21st of this same month they will have to be paid.

Anyone who is interested can still fill out the registration on the website of the sporting event: www.rutadelasfortalezas.es until January 28.

This route has its exit, as every year, in Plaza Heroes de Cavite at 8:05 in the morning.

One of the main novelties of this year's itinerary is its passage through the shipyards and the Navantia dock.

The distance of this race will be, as usual, 53 kilometers.

CHILD AND YOUTH PROOF

Those interested in participating in the children's race, of 2.7 kilometers, or in the youth, of 14.4 kilometers, can also sign up on the official page of the IX Route of the Fortresses from 1 to 9 February.

The juvenile event will start, like the General one, at the Plaza de los Héroes de Cavite and Cuba on the same day as the general one, on April 14, but one hour later, and it will also end at the facilities of the Infantry School of Marina 'General Albacete and Fuster'.

The child will be held on the 13th at 6:30 p.m. and the start and finish will be located in the same square.

It should be remembered that the Route of the Fortresses has a charitable nature, so that the proceeds, after covering the expenses of organizing it, will be donated to institutions of solidarity.
