It is a play, written by Juan José Alonso Millán.

OLIVER TWIST.

THE SMALL ORPHAN

Friday, January 27, 9:30 p.m.

Tickets: 10 and 12 €.

Oliver Twist, the little orphan, is conceived as a show for a family audience based on the original novel by Charles Dickens.

The story of a young orphan who goes in search of a better future and who first faces the harsh law of the streets of London.

Oliver reminds us of many other stories of children and adolescents trying to get out of that marginal world in our day.

Charles Dickens intended to influence with his writings in the Victorian society in which he lived, and in one way or another he succeeded in exposing to the public opinion problems that cried out to heaven.

His own experience, he had a difficult childhood, and the economic straits of the family were responsible for making Dickens especially sensitive to situations of this nature.

DANCE PERFORMANCE.

AD LIBITUM

Saturday, February 17, 9:30 p.m.

Tickets: 10 and 12 €.

Dance interference.

A company with a personal stamp, contemporary dance and a certain lyricism in its forms, an artistic-spiritual transparency in what refers to the dance language.

The company, in almost all its choreographic pieces, has artistic collaborators from other disciplines.

As choreographer and director, Alfonso Cayetano believed in the union of the arts as a means of expression and diffusion, in the investigation of dance and its development.

The main objective of the company is to transmit this way of doing dance to the public.

Through the sculpture of the rape of the sabinas of Giambologna, and everything that I have loved throughout my life, how martial arts, opera, and dance have been, I created the piece.

With a wonderful and tenacious team, we have achieved an integration and fusion, not so much virtuous as beautiful, which for me is the same, a personal work, a subject I had pending.

Along with teachers, students of karate, Tai Chi and Dance, as they are, Lolo Gallardo, Guillermo Serrano, José Rodríguez, Patricia Serrano, Federico corrales, Ruth Méndez and a server.

OPEN COUPLE

Saturday, February 24, 9:30 p.m.

Tickets: 10 and 12 €.

Open couple is a work by Darío Fo and his wife, Franca Rame, in which a criticism of the double morality that exists around sex and marriage is raised in a satire tone.

A "progressive" couple thinks they are very liberal and open, but the only one who enjoys that freedom is man;

showing the machismo that is enclosed sometimes even in this type of couples.

A work full of comic gags and delirious situations, which help soften the work but does not stop showing the reality

A NIGHT OF ZARZUELA

Saturday March 3 9:30 p.m.

Tickets: 10 and 12 €.

A night of Zarzuela is eminently a lyrical recital of zarzuelistico repertoire, but with some peculiarities.

We have not limited ourselves, as is normally done, to presenting a succession of romances and duets representative of our lyrical genre.

Instead, all the songs are developed motivated by a theatrical plot of comic type, in which the public takes an active part at all times.

In this way, the viewer can enjoy lyrical pieces in rigorous live and accompanied by a master pianist, while having fun witnessing and "acting" in a comedy.

It is about two scenic paintings, in which, with wardrobe according to each of them, the first will portray the uses and customs of provincial areas and the second based on the famous Zarzuelas castizas of Madrid of chulapos and chulapas which of course, could not miss.

To illustrate these two portraits, fragments of well-known Zarzuelas such as El Huel del Sevillano, La Rosa del Azafrán, La Tabernera de Puerto, La Verbena de la Paloma, La Revoltosa, Agua, azucarillos and aguardiente, La Buellow Roses, etc ...

All of them seasoned with the introduction of entertaining explanations of historical and cultural scope of each period by the presenter and the reproduction of small fragments of the scripts by the actors, which illustrate more, if possible, what the spectator is witnessing.

BLANCANIEVES, THE MUSICAL

Saturday March 10 6:30 p.m.

Tickets: 10 and 12 €.

Starting from the classic tale of the Brothers Grimm we present a very special snow white.

A character and a story that will help us introduce the smallest in important values, such as the stepmother's obsession with beauty, even discrimination and respect for all different people.

And it will be clear before dwarves and princes that the classic feminine roles that conditioned girls to domestic tasks and passive subjects of savior kisses, have evolved.

A musical for the whole family.
