The Municipal Citizens Group in Cartagena has presented six motions in today's ordinary plenary session.

Pact for Employment

The Municipal Citizens Group has proposed in the municipal plenary today that one of the main lines of work for the year 2018 is to develop, within the framework of the Local Employment Board, a large agreement signed by all the members for the implementation of the programs to be applied in Cartagena and Comarca in the coming years to increase employability and economic development.

The orange training has urged the local government to convene the Employment Board to present the conclusions of the diagnosis of the economic situation of Cartagena, the strategic objectives related to employment, and that the 2018 calendar of actions to be developed begins to be developed. precise to achieve them.

The spokesman of Cs, Manuel Padín, considers "essential that all the contributions that pour in this table are included in an ambitious strategic plan that must have the express agreement of all, with the signature of all the members and whose actions must be valued and measured with its corresponding economic item, which should be included in the upcoming municipal budgets ".

New health center in Barrio Peral

The spokesman for Citizens in Cartagena, Manuel Padín, has defended a motion for the City Council to urge the regional executive to build a new health center in Barrio Peral that can accommodate and provide services to all users in the area.

The initiative, which has been unanimously supported by all the groups, also urges the Community, independently of the development of a new health center, to carry out as soon as possible the actions that are possible and viable to improve the access conditions to the health services of neighbors and residents in Barrio Peral and annexed areas, such as, without prejudice to all those that could be undertaken, the following: the expansion of the lobby that is in front of the current Health Center Administration and increase in the number of health personnel.

In addition, it requests the local government to proceed with the placement of pedestrian crossings to access the center.

Study room in El Algar

The municipal group Citizens has criticized today that almost a year ago, on January 13, 2017, the Department of Education announced "a hype and saucer" the habilitation of a classroom study in the Social Center of El Algar, in the attached room to the Pensioner's Home.

This space was then visited by the Councilor for Education, David Martínez with the mayor of Decentralization, Juan Pedro Torralba, and announced its opening by the end of that month.

They placed new tables and chairs and a card access.

The investment made by the Department for the implementation of this space was around 3,000 euros.

Now, the orange training denounces that in spite of that commitment the classroom is still closed and for that reason it has presented a motion to comply with the agreement in the Local Board of this town in the month of March 2016 in the same sense, in a maximum period of two months.

The motion has been approved unanimously.

Motion on Miranda's recreational area

The orange training spokesman, Manuel Padín, has asked for a resolution, within a maximum period of two months, of all the necessary steps aimed at preparing and enabling a municipally owned land in Miranda as sports equipment and leisure area for children. neighbors of the place, giving effect once to the motion of Cs unanimously approved in plenary of the month of April 2016. The proposal has been approved unanimously.

The socialist councilor, Juan Pedro Torralba, has responded that if the will of the promoter is still good, if not in two months, it will be a little more but it will be done.

Garrofero in Miranda

The proposal of Cs clarifies that in case of not being able to reach an agreement, the owners are urged to, according to the current legislation, perform the maintenance of the fencing and prune the carob, in order to minimize the danger existing in this section of the road.

The motion has been approved unanimously.

The councilor of MC, María José Soler, has responded that they have already contacted the owners and that another meeting is pending after the Day of Kings and that there is a good predisposition to correct the problems.

Ciudadanos regrets that his motion in which he asked all the political formations of the Corporation to work in 2018 on a series of investment proposals for Cartagena has been rejected.
