The ArtNostrum collective collects about one thousand euros in its solidarity auction (28/12/2017)

The Theater Hall of the Roman Theater Museum was filled on Wednesday 27 to participate in the charity auction 'Pax Nostrum', organized by the collective of artists 'ArtNostrum', which could bid for 16 ceramic pieces made by members of the collective that were part of the exhibition 'Heryca, the trips of Sirvs'.

The event began with the words of the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez, and the director of the Roman Theater Museum Foundation, Elena Ruiz, who thanked everyone for attending this solidarity event and encouraged them to participate and enjoy.

Martinez wanted to highlight the importance of these initiatives in a few dates that invite solidarity, in this case dedicated to projects of help to children in countries at war of the NGO ACNUR.

The attendees had the opportunity to get closer to see the lots before starting the auction, which was finally done by individual pieces.

The auctioneer and director of the act was Tomás Martínez Pagán, who was announcing piece by piece and directing the bids.

The assistants acquired 10 of the pieces for which they were raised about 1,000 euros.

The other 6 pieces were purchased in lots by companies.

The Choir 'Tomás Luis de Victoria', composed on this occasion by adults and white voices, was in charge of closing the act by singing the Christmas song "Noche de Paz", adding one more Christmas note to this event.

The collective 'ArtNostrum' will sign an agreement with UNHCR in the coming dates so that the donation of the amount collected becomes effective.
