The Algameca Theater Group has presented the foundations of the XIX Amateur Theater Competition Isidoro Máiquez, which has the collaboration of the City of Cartagena through the Department of Equality and Culture.
The deadline for receipt of proposals is open from today, December 13 and will close on February 15.
The amateur theater groups that wish to do so, from all over the national territory can be presented to the contest.

From among all the participating groups, the designated commission will select five works that will be awarded with an aid of 500 euros and will be performed in the auditorium of the Neighborhood Association of the District of La Concepción between April 9 and 15.
Also, three other pieces will be chosen as a reservation.
The awards will be, as in previous years, the best actress, best actor, best supporting actress, best supporting actor, best staging and best direction.
As a novelty in this edition will be awarded a special prize of the public that will be called Special Isidoro Máiquez.
