The president of the Popular Party of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, has assured this Saturday that "Cartagena is an important pillar for the Region and has much to contribute to the progress and future of Spain."
Lopez Miras has made these statements in the day of coexistence of the PP of Cartagena, which has chaired, and which has been attended by more than 600 members and supporters of the Popular Party of the port city.
During his speech, he remarked that the Cartagena PP "is a strong party with an exciting project".
"There is no other party in Cartagena that is able to gather so many supporters to enjoy a day in which he has spoken of ideas and projects that will ensure the welfare of Cartagena," said Lopez Miras, who has been accompanied by president of the PP of Cartagena, Joaquín Segado and the spokesman of the municipal group in the Town Hall, Francisco Espejo.
The president of the Popular Party of the Region of Murcia has referred to the PP members of Cartagena as "the muscle of the party", and has indicated that "they want to work with enthusiasm to be on the street transmitting the message and the project that the PP has for the city beyond 2019. "
Also, Fernando López Miras, has moved a message of encouragement and strength "because the Region of Murcia leads the creation of employment, every 20 minutes a job is created."
Thus, he insisted on the idea that "to work for the job is to work for the people, that is the future project that I lead, the one that is in the DNA of the PP".

On the other hand the president of the PP of Cartagena, Joaquín Segado, has referred to the PP as "the only real alternative for the future of the municipality" and has qualified that "we are a strong and living party that works from unity with the objective of improve the quality of life of the Cartagena and vindicate the priority projects for the municipality ".
"In front we have two parties immersed in the fight, in the public attack and putting the trip to stop the projects that Cartagena needs," he said.
"The Popular Party is the party of experience, of security and prosperity," said Segado, who added that "we are the political force that Cartagena needs and we will work to return the illusion to all Cartagena."
