Great sports day organized by the ADE program of the Department of Sports, which has been lived today at the municipal track of athletics with the First Meeting "WE ARE ALL CAPACES" for people with disabilities and in which entities have participated and centers with open classrooms: APICES, PROLAM, ASIDO, PRIMITIVA LOPEZ, BEETHOVEN, SALESIANS, VIRGEN DEL CARMEN and LA VAGUADA.
More than 200 participants, monitors, volunteers and teachers who have come together to enjoy the practice and approach to this sport.
A "rewarding" and "enriching" experience, according to those responsible for the centers and entities.
This I Encuentro "TODOS SOMOS CAPACES" has had the collaboration of Elcano Athletics Club.
Its objective has been to bring and enable the practice of athletics to people with disabilities.
It has been composed of six tests: speed, resistance, weight, length, fences and circuit, and relays.
All of them in groups by age: group 1 (up to 11 years old) and group 2 (from 12 years old and up).
Each test lasted 12 to 15 minutes.
