On Friday, December 1, the asphalting work on the Paseo Alfonso XIII road will begin (28/11/2017)

On Friday, December 1, the paving of Paseo Alfonso XIII begins, which will be carried out in three different phases that are scheduled to last until Tuesday, December 5 and will affect the stretch that runs between the Alicante square and the intersection with street Juan De La Cosa.

The Local Police of Cartagena has reported the traffic cut that will occur as a result of these works.

The first phase of the works of renovation of the sign will begin on Friday at 8:00 am, and the section of Paseo Alfonso XIII that runs between Plaza de Alicante and the intersection with Capitanes de Ripoll street will be cut to traffic, and affecting only the exit lanes towards A-30.

This measure will affect the users of the garages located in said section, which can not be accessed until the completion of the asphalt works.

The second phase will begin on Monday, December 4 at 8:00 am, and in this case will affect the same stretch of Paseo Alfonso XIII as the previous phase, but only to the entrance lanes to the city.

Finally, on Tuesday 5 at 8:00 am, the third phase of the asphalting work will start, which will affect the section of Paseo Alfonso XIII between the intersection with Capitanes de Ripoll and Calle Juan De La Cosa.

The works will be carried out throughout the day in both circulation directions, and it is expected that they will be completed that same day.

All drivers are asked to take into account, during their journeys, those sections affected by the traffic cuts and to consider the use of alternative routes.
