The Hall of Ceremonies of the Consistorial Palace hosted on Monday, November 27, the presentation of the book 'The Asian Cartagena, its creation and evolution towards excellence', written by Francisco Antonio Rosas Fernández-Villamil.
The act was carried out by the former mayor of Cartagena and councilman of the municipal government, José López, who was accompanied by Joaquín Roca Dorda and Tomás Martínez Pagán.
The book is the result of a rigorous study of the Asian from Cartagena, from the origin of his name, through the creation of the mythical glass in the Unión Vidriera de España, factory No. 1 of Santa Lucia, to the history and its most Cartagena component, Liquor 43
The author has written this book investigating and diving in hemerotecas, finding curious data of this emblematic drink of the city.
The main objective of this book is that the Asian and its history are known nationally and internationally.
