The City Council will invest more than 25,000 euros to improve lighting in the two streets of Cabo de Palos (24/11/2017)

The councilor of the area of Sustainable Development and Transparency, María José Soler;

and the general coordinator of Sustainable Development, Jesús Giménez, traveled yesterday to Cabo de Palos to, on the ground, check the progress of the action that aims to improve street lighting in various locations in the town.

At present, the redefinition works are being undertaken, which will focus on Paseo Alarcón and Calle Coral de Fuego, with a total of fifteen new points of light.

After the works, valued at more than 25,000 euros, the aforementioned routes will have renewed facilities, equipped with LED technology.

The supports will be hot galvanized, truncated and cylindrical metal, as well as fiberglass reinforced polyester (GRP).

In both locations it is a new plant installation, for which a unilateral arrangement has been arranged, with a distance between luminaires of 25 meters.

The height of the supports will be seven meters.

In this way, from Sustainable Development is fulfilled the opinion of the neighbors who prioritized the performance of the action in two ways that did not have the necessary lighting, in the case of Paseo Alarcón for non-existent, while in the street Coral de Fire, at present, is clearly insufficient.
