Five new officers have taken possession today of their positions as technicians of general administration (TAG) of the City of Cartagena.
The event took place in the plenary hall of the Consistorial Palace and was presided over by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón.
Next to it have been the councilor of the Treasury and Security Area, Francisco Aznar, and technicians from the Government Office and Human Resources.
Equally was the councilor of Quality of Life Area, Francisco Calderón and the councilman of the Government, José López, as well as family and colleagues.
Alicia García Gómez, María Dolores Martínez Gimeno, Adelia Rodríguez Arribas, María Encarnación Larrosa Morales and Pablo Tornel Sánchez are the first five officials to join the staff of the City of Cartagena after passing an opposition, after more than six years.
The mayor has welcomed her home and addressed them to remind her of her work in public service and her duty to citizens, since "your work will contribute to making this a more agile administration for the citizens of Cartagena".
Ana Belén Castejón recalled that the current municipal government launched a process of oppositions, after many years without being convened and that will lead to that before the end of the legislature have been covered 66 seats of new officials, as in the coming months 42 Administrative Assistant positions and 19 Local Police will be added.
The mayor has concluded that "little by little, we are getting the staff increase of this administration, but has clarified that it has been paid once the large part of the debt that accumulated by the City Council and kept it intervened by the Government Central".
