The first Experts of Mines, who studied in Cartagena, have moved to the city from Valencia, Tarragona, Reus, Madrid, Ceuta or Murcia, to meet after fifty years.
The delegated councilor of Industry, Obdulia Gómez, has received them in her visit to the Consistorial Palace, one of the activities that they have organized to celebrate this reunion.
The mayor of the city, Ana Belén Castejón, did not want to miss the opportunity to greet this group of experts that was formed in Cartagena from 1963 to 1967.
The twenty students, who attend the meeting, continue their acts with a tribute and academic act in the Isaac Peral Room of the Faculty of Sciences of the UPCT.
All of them will receive the scholarship, a certificate and a copy of the border prepared for the occasion.
The UMAY Choir will perform at the ceremony.
