The Deslinde festival unites this Friday music and poetry in the concert Multiverso I and II in Mister Witt (02/11/2017)

The cycle "Deslinde" poetry, organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, has also scheduled musical shows, such as the concert held this Friday, November 3, at 23:30 in the Mister Witt Café room a charge of Antonio Arias (Nick Lizard) + DR Montañés.

Under the title "Multiverse I and II" Antonio Arias, leader of the legendary band Lagartija Nick, ex of 091 and elementary part of The Evangelists, gathers his solo works.

His "astromusic", as defined by the astrophysicist JA Caballero, his mentor in this project, "seeks to open an endless number of questions that have always haunted us, creating a mystical sensation with which to glide through the velvet of intergalactic space".

In the footsteps of existence, and the hand of poets such as David Jou and Natalia Carbajosa among others, the musical geometry of the "Multiverses" delves into the ancestral rhythms of popular music to expand towards the tonal avant-garde of the infinite.

A sound telescope that claims a cleaner sky in a clearer world, away from the environmental and mental pollution that afflicts us, where stargazers still have room.

A ship on board to let ourselves be enveloped by the history that launches us into the future.

A conceptual journey from which it is not possible to return being the same.

A musical firmament studded with voices and dreams.

Antonio Arias

He plays bass in the songs of group 091, with his band Lagartija Nick, accompanying Enrique Morente or his daughter Soledad.

It was his solo work, Multiverso (2009), in which he dedicated an express song to astronomy.

However, he was born in the Calar Alto observatory, and has interpreted in important scientific meetings, such as the First International Meeting of Administrations for the Protection of the Night Sky.

Now come back to the fray with Multiverse II and a handful of songs based on the immensity of our Universe.
