The success of the Cartagena Outlet Fair has been evident for the eighth consecutive year.
In the seven days that has been installed in the Plaza Heroes of Cavite, shops have sold between 15 and 20% more than in the previous edition and has had a large influx of public.
As the traders themselves have said, the day that has seen the most sales has been the past day 12, Pilar day, followed closely by the weekend of 14 and 15 October.
The acting mayor, Juan Pedro Torralba, has highlighted this significant increase of the figures compared to the previous year "because it ratifies that this proposal is very beneficial, not only for the traditional businesses, but also for the innkeepers of the area who have increased these days for its clientele and for all citizens of Cartagena who have had the opportunity to contemplate the offer of up to 53 shops of the municipality in the same space.
Among the strong points, highlighted by the vendors, is the strategic location of hundreds of pedestrians every day, the promotion of the small and medium-sized trade in Cartagena and the visibility given to businesses, especially those who do not are located in the center of the city.
Unlike previous years, this edition has taken into account that the fair coincided with dates that favored the influx of public in Heroes of Cavite, so that 95% of merchants installed have said they would repeat next year .
From the area of ​​Economic Strategy, directed by Mayor Ana Belén Castejón, will continue working and implementing the proposals of the merchants of the municipality to boost the sector, through the Municipal Council of Commerce.
