Due to the numerous fires that are ravaging the province of Vigo and other parts of Galicia and the North of our country, the Department of Security, had authorized the sending of both material and human means to offer support in the work of extinction of said fires.

Specifically in the firehouse of Cartagena had prepared an endowment composed by:

1 Heavy Forest Pump

1 Forest Nodriza Pump

1 Personnel transport vehicle

1 All-terrain vehicle 4x4

Fortunately, after contacting the Teis central park in Vigo, those responsible for the operation have reported that the situation has improved in the last few hours due to the presence of rains that have considerably reduced the number of fires.

Nevertheless, they have expressed their gratitude to the members of the Cartagena Fire Station who were going to travel by land to Galicia as well as to the Headquarters and the Department of Security for their initiative.
