Until October 30, the deadline for the Official Contest for the election of the poster that will represent the City in its Carnival 2018, called by the Carnival Federation of Cartagena, will be open with the collaboration of the Council of Festivities of the City Hall of Cartagena
All Spanish or foreign creators who so wish may take part in the competition, being an indispensable condition that the works are original.
Each participant may submit up to three original works.
The theme will be free of choice and interpretation of the author and must reflect the carnival spirit, as well as a notorious element of the City of Cartagena.
The technique will also be free.
A single prize of € 1,000 will be awarded, which may be void if, in the judgment of the jury, the works presented do not meet the necessary quality.
The posters will be exhibited in the place determined by the Carnival Federation, before the jury decision, which will be composed of representatives of the City Council and the Carnival Federation and professionals in the design and communication sector.
