The Auditorium and Congress Center El Batel begins the new course with the organization of seven national congresses that will bring to the city more than 2,000 people who, in addition to attending the official program, will enjoy the attractions and tourist infrastructures of the city of Cartagena, as well as of the local gastronomy.
The first of them is being held, from 4 to 7 October, and are the XI Days of the General Council of the Judiciary - Superior Council of Architects' Colleges, which is held biannually and will include in its inauguration with Rosa Peñalver Perez, president of the Regional Assembly of Murcia and Juan Pedro Torralba, acting mayor of Cartagena among other authorities.
On October 18, 19 and 20, Cartagena hosts the eighth edition of the National Congress of Biobanks, organized by the Murcian Institute for Biosanitary Research, the National Oncology Research Center and the National Biobanks Network of the Carlos III Health Institute.
It will have workshops and international speakers focused on the new challenges that have to be faced as biobanks to respond to the exciting scientific progress of biomedical research.
On October 21 will be held in El Batel the 18 Regional Meeting of Self-Managers, organized by Plena Inclusion Region of Murcia, a Federation that includes more than 3,000 families, organized in 27 entities, which manage 36 centers.
Around 700 professionals work in the entities and collaborate more than 300 volunteers.
This time in the meeting is held under the theme "I want to live with whom I choose".
Between the 26th and 28th of October, the XXXVIII National Congress of the Spanish Federation of Family Therapy Associations will be held, with the idea of ​​being a scientific and didactic meeting point on Family Therapy to promote the relationship and the contact between professionals and create new projects.
The organizing committee very involved with the environment has proposed to the conference participants the creation of "The Forest of Family Therapists" through a donation of 10 euros to plant, water and care for a year the Tetraclinis Articulata, an autochthonous tree of Cartagena and North Africa.
To date, 2018 is expected to celebrate the National Congress of the Spanish Association of Professionals of Autism, the XI Congress and XX Conference of the Spanish Society of Penitentiary Health, and the International Course "implants in multidisciplinary aesthetic dentistry" organized by the Group of Studies Murcian Odontoestomatológicos and the Alicantino Group of Dental Studies among other projects.
The Auditorium and Congress Center El Batel de Cartagena has become a reference for the city and the region, in the congressional sector, thanks to its intense communication and promotion of Cartagena in both the Region of Murcia and the rest of the country, making known the attractions of the city as well as all the possibilities it offers, always with the aim of positioning it as a destination for congresses and events thanks to its cultural and historical heritage, as well as its gastronomic and climatological qualities.
