The areas of Sustainable Development and Quality of Life of the City of Cartagena have organized the first action aimed at reforestation of the municipality, which will take place this Sunday, October 8, in La Aljorra, within the framework of the celebration of its Fifth Neighborhood Meeting.
Municipal technicians from both areas will coordinate this initiative, which will also involve the CreeCT association.
It will take place from 11.30 hours.
In this line of putting in place measures for the recovery of the vegetation cover of the forests of Cartagena, it is expected that next week the Working Table for Reforestation will gather, which already shuffles some ideas to put into practice, such as the plantation of a tree for each birth that occurs in the municipality, the search and delimitation of urban areas for restocking, or the commission to the UPCT of a Master Plan.
In the table will participate the parties with representation in the Consistory, CreeCT;
ANSE, and other invited entities, such as the MAPS project local group and the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Cartagena and Comarca (FAVCAC).
During the same, the calendar and detail of the next actions that will be developed during the present fall will be offered.
