As indicated by José Antonio Mecca, from the Federation of Troops and Legions, from next year, they intend to occupy the whole Alameda to "bring" the parties "to the center of Cartagena without forgetting the northern zone" and thus "show that the holidays are all of them".

With these two events, reported Mecca, it is intended to give "another approach" to the festivities and "share the holidays," which are from the city and were born to claim their past and its history, manifested.

"We expect the assistance of all visitors, tourists and Cartagena," said Obdulia Gomez, who agreed with the president of the Federation of Troops and Legions that Carthaginians and Romans are "the Cartagena holidays for Cartagena."

The mayor of Tourism has praised the work that the festers perform and has highlighted the "upward trend" of the celebrations.

"Every year they are over," noted the councilor, who has noted that this year, in addition, with the declaration of Festivals of International Tourist Interest, there has been "an exponential rise" in the influx of public.

"Internationalization has begun," he has condemned, while expressing his desire to reach "globalization".

This has also been confirmed by Mecca, who has observed a greater presence of foreign visitors and more participation of people in the events.

In their opinion, besides the declaration of internationality of the celebrations, this is also due to an increase in the promotion of the same ones in the Region as in bordering provinces.

PROMOTIONAL NAPKIN

And in order to contribute to this promotion, today has also presented the new napkin that has designed and manufactured Zambú with the logo of Carthagineses and Romans which includes the declaration of Festivals of International Tourist Interest and to be distributed throughout the Region.
