On the last visit to the AFAL facilities in Cartagena, CTSSP verified by hand of its director Raúl Nieto the precariousness of the stays in which this association has to work daily, sometimes sharing with other organizations the physical space awarded.
In addition subsidies from institutions have declined this year, having to divide 135,000 euros between 7 associations in the case of the Autonomous Community, or receiving 2,000 euros less from the City of Cartagena.
Therefore, CTSSP believes it is necessary to study the real problems once and for all, and to carry out new strategies and actions that work to confront this situation, since the problem will be aggravated because the population is getting older and that causes Alzheimer's cases to soar.
